This story takes place three years after the events of the previous game "Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout ,"and depicts the reunion of Ryza and her friends, who go through new encounters and goodbyes to discover a true priceless treasure.

The Story
Three years have passed since Ryza’s secret grand adventure on Kurken Island. Ryza, the only member of her group to remain on the island, receives a letter from her friend telling her about ruins that may be related to alchemy, along with a mysterious request involving a glowing stone. This inspires her to leave the island and venture out to the royal capital, Ashra-am Baird. However, Ryza is unaware that this will lead to the beginning of an imaginative new adventure involving a pursuit of the mysteries of the ruins surrounding the royal capital and a meeting with a strange creature that will change her life.

Main Features

Ryza can now perform many new actions in the field, including diving underwater, using plants to climb walls, moving through narrow gaps, and using magic ropes to travel between separated areas. These and other abilities allow Ryza to explore various areas and ruins more fully and actively.

Take on your enemies using an improved “real-time tactics” battle system, which is now faster and more thrilling than ever. Speedily switch between characters, choose varied skills, and utilize items in just the right moments for best results.

■ Straightforward and easy-to-use synthesis!
Utilize several new synthesis systems, including the new intuitive “Linkage Synthesis” system where items are placed in cells called “Material Loops”, that are designed to allow both new players to easily learn synthesis, and experienced players to create unique customized items. Created items can also be mixed and matched with “Evolution Link” to create entirely new items.

Instructions:
- Turn off anti-virus or allow an exemption, it may be the cause of files being deleted or blocked during installation and/or attempting to run the game.
- Extract the iso using a zip program or preferably mount it instead using a free program such as DAEMON Tools Lite to install.
- Whatever you decided run the setup.exe file (mute or lower your volume trust me and you'll need 19.96 GB of free space), choose where you want the game installed to along with any other check boxes of interest and install when ready. Note the game folder should be in ASCII characters (if renamed) to prevent any problems.
- If it wasn't done during installation (by checking the Copy contents of CODEX box) you must copy all files from the CODEX folder to the root directory of where you installed the game and overwrite in order to play the game, without this crack you will be unable to.
- Once done open Atelier_Ryza_2.exe.
- Due to the incompetence of Koei Tecmo you must have a mouse to navigate (for you controller users). Game window will be displayed at 1280x720, after set the settings you want than select "New Game" when ready. Once able to take control of Ryza press "ESC" (also allows to skip most game scenes) on the keyboard to bring up additional menu's such as "Graphics Settings", "Key Assignments", etc.
- If your game crashes read "Issues" below before running the game.
- Game may not register resolutions higher than 1080p, supports Ultra Widescreen tho. If this is the case you must modify the "Settings.ini" file located in your "Document/KoeiTecmo\Atelier Ryza 2" folder. If you want to start in your desired resolution from the beginning see below for the DDL.
- Enjoy especially if this is your first time playing an Atelier RPG game.

Inquiries:
- DLC activation - To make sure the DLC's are activated > go to the Atelier Ryza 2 game folder > open "steam_emu.ini" > scroll down to "DLCUnlockall=0" if it's 0 change it to 1, that's it.
- Atelier Ryza 1 save data bonus - You do not need a completed save just the "data.dat" file from the "SystemData folder" to access the pre-order bonus, "Nostalgic Straw Hat" Accessory for Ryza. If you require it see the DDL below.
- There are only 3 levels of difficulty only and can be changed anytime during gameplay, For more you'll have to complete the game or / and wait for new updates. I've included the complete save to Atelier Ryza 2. You take full responsibility for any spoilers you witness. See below for the DDL.
- Blurry background? Turn off "Depth of Field (DoF)" under "Graphic Settings" in game or edit "Settings.ini" and look for "GRAPHICS_DOF=1" and change it to 0 & run game.
- Too much glowy light effects? Turn off "Bloom" under "Graphic Settings" in game or by editing "Settings.ini" and looking for "GRAPHICS_BLOOM=1" and change it to 0 & run game.

You'll be able to obtain all the bonuses once you receive a room at the academy (approx 8 min speed run to it).
To change outfits, much like Ryza 1, check the diary tho it's by the cauldron.

Newly found and confirmed by me, seems you may not need the Ryza 1 save data file at all. Add this to the "steam_emu.ini" file under '#ID=Name" and that's it. The DDL will remain for those that want it: 1121560=Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout

Issues
- If you experience the game crashing turning off "Auto Save" under the "Settings" menu seems to resolve the issue but caution may appear again elsewhere in the first area, maybe even after according to a report. You take full responsibility if you decide to keep this function turned on and if the game crashes it may corrupt your save data files, you may be required to either remove the save data folder from your Documents or delete it to save properly again.| Steam Thread about this

- Game not in full resolution! Again, press "ESC" on the keyboard once you take control of Ryza to bring up the additional menus. You can also modify the "Setting.ini" file located in your "Documents\KoeiTecmo\Atelier Ryza 2" folder. Unfortunately for PC users (unless modded) this outfit is only available to lowly console owners such as the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 & 5.
Screwed not once but twice since Ryza 1 also had them but was Japan exclusive.
